For professionals who never had formal tech training

The skills your role now assumes you already have.

Spreadsheets that go beyond totals. Reports that build themselves. Small automations that quietly save an afternoon a week. Kokiro is a structured course that teaches these foundations from the ground up, built specifically for people who came up through a career path that never included them.

Who this course was actually built for

Most data and automation training online is written for people already halfway there. It assumes comfort with technical language, prior exposure to tools, or a willingness to learn through trial and error on the job. That approach leaves out a large group of capable professionals who simply never had the chance to build these habits early.

Kokiro was designed around a different starting point. It assumes you are good at your job, that you manage people, budgets, projects or client relationships, and that spreadsheets, dashboards and automated workflows have quietly become part of the expectation without anyone ever teaching you how they work. The course fills that gap directly, in plain language, at a pace that respects your time.

Four areas, taught in a logical order

Each area builds on the last. You will not be asked to jump into automation before you understand where your data actually comes from.

Spreadsheets, properly

Formulas, pivot tables, data validation and cleaning techniques that go well past what most people picked up informally.

Understanding data

Where data comes from, how it is structured, and why quality issues appear before they ever reach a report.

No-code automation

Connecting everyday tools so repetitive tasks run on their own, without writing a single line of code.

Dashboards & reporting

Turning raw numbers into something a manager or client can actually read and act on quickly.

How the course is structured

1

Start with a short assessment

A brief, low-pressure check of what you already know, so you are not sitting through material you have already mastered.

2

Work through structured modules

Each module combines short explanations, real office-style exercises, and downloadable templates you can reuse immediately.

3

Apply it to your own workflow

Toward the end of each module, you rebuild something from your actual job using the new technique, not a generic example.

4

Keep the materials afterward

Templates, checklists and reference sheets stay available to you after the course ends, for whenever a refresher is useful.

04

A course built by people who taught themselves first

Kokiro grew out of workplace training sessions originally run for a handful of colleagues who kept asking the same practical questions. Over time the material was organized into a full course, but the tone stayed the same: direct, patient, and free of jargon that exists mainly to sound impressive.

Three ways to take the course
